About Me

My photo
Dear friends, We began this blog in the summer of 2012 when our family was called to step "out" of our "normal" life as we lived it in Carrollton Texas and serve for 3 months at Housesofhope.org orphanage in Zacapa, Guatemala. A simple blog for our friends and family to stay in touch during our short journey. Since that season we have decided we will use this as a means to continue to log our journey, share our stories and create a platform to champion what inspires us. We hope you enjoy and pray that you are encouraged into action and deeper reflection on family and faith.

Typing with Willi

Hola amigos!
I have some good news and some good new and some bad news.  Some good news is that GiGi brought down the camera charger for mom's big camera.  So now we have some more interesting photos. I will post them at the end.  The other good news is that it rained here.  Not very much, like rain in Texas.  But luckily I brought my poncho.  (thanks to some friends of mine)
The bad news...   My dads flight got delayed 3 hours,  so as he was waiting, he decided to check his email.  So he pulls out his HP touch pad and finds the nearest wall plug. Plugs in his Touch Pad, and as he was checking his email,  (did I mention it was plugged in)  they called for his flight.  So off he goes on to his plain.  Leaving the touch pad. Never to be seen again.
That all folks!
Well, its time for some pictures.
