Sun rise service in Guatemala translates to 5:30 a.m. That sounds very early but the sun rises earlier here so even at 5:30 the sun had pretty much risen into the sky. Beautiful mountains and pink/purple skies and birds chirping all around. Kevin led worship and German proclaimed He is risen!!

- Dear friends, We began this blog in the summer of 2012 when our family was called to step "out" of our "normal" life as we lived it in Carrollton Texas and serve for 3 months at Housesofhope.org orphanage in Zacapa, Guatemala. A simple blog for our friends and family to stay in touch during our short journey. Since that season we have decided we will use this as a means to continue to log our journey, share our stories and create a platform to champion what inspires us.
